We noticed a lack of access to Joomla Templates that are built for showcasing one's work. In looking for portfolio templates we used the following criteria: single-column layout when possible, nice image integration, simple layout, excellent typography, typically dark designs to make graphics pop. These are both free and commercial templates.

PixelsParadise has released their newest template, Green Mocha. Built for Joomla! 1.5 only, this template sports tons of module positions

Take Your Joomla Site Mobile

The Mobile Template by JoomlaBucket and the accompanying module will automatically switch your template when being browsed by the iPhone browser. Complete with jquery navigation you can test it out here. The template populates with an RSS feed you designate from the backend, so you can even create a custom content feed for iPhone browsers. Module Class Suffixes

There are four available module class suffixes; all of which can be seen on the live demo. They are: -archive, -green, -blue, -red

Syndication Integration

Simply create a syndication module and publish it to the "syndicate" module position. Voila!

Module Positions

The BlogSpace template comes complete with 9 module positions: top, user1, user2, user3, user4, right, right1, syndicate and search

Search Module

Publish a standard search module to the "search" module position. Choose the following parameters: Search Button: yes, Search button as image: Yes. That's it!

Top Menu

Simply published a menu module to the "top" position using style suffix "-nav" and the menu style "Legacy - Flat List"
